We are getting ready to take a very long flight and I’ve been making little things for Little Bit to have for the trip.
I had a little fabric left from making Little Bit’s napkins and table cloth that I’d been holding on to for a while, nearly 2 years. I was glad to finally make it into something useful and get it out of the scrap pile! Yea for Stash Busting!
Inspired by Bright Life Toys…Here is the result… a Very Hungry Caterpillar memory game! This will be lots of fun on the plane and it is a nice quiet game. :)
The pieces are backed in the VHC dot fabric, which is the same as the storage bag.
Storage bag with an odd square of the fabric appliqued to the front for easy identification.
My next challenge was to make a travel pillow.
I found this Sew Baby pattern for animal travel pillows at Joann’s yesterday. It sews up really quickly! I made it from an upcycled cashmere sweater and stuffed it with poly-fil. Little Bit is thrilled with his new travel pillow… I wonder if he will name it.
